For those of you anxiously watching our blog for updates, thank you, thank you, thank you for being so patient!  I have quite a few new things planned for this year, so here is just a snippet of what to expect:

• An updated look, with a new logo, new section designs, and little touches of fabulous.
• A more complete list of vendors in all categories, hand-picked for their quality, innovation, and continual quest to go beyond the ordinary.
• LOTS of inspiring Real Weddings, and some great advice from our recent newlyweds
• A 'Tour Guide' section, sharing a collection of images from each of our favorite venues.  (The perfect way to get great ideas on the best places to get married!)
• Feature blog posts from some of our amazing local artists.
• The 2010 Avant Garde Awards, celebrating the most innovative ideas from Seattle's top wedding professionals.

If you are a current advertiser, I want to personally thank you for your support.  I am so happy to be a part of such a great community of professionals, and I am continually inspired by the creativity in our local talent!  Until we have completed our changes, we have put a hold on any monthly fees to participate on our site, so if you are a current advertiser please don't be alarmed when you don't see any bills from us - consider it our little 'Stimulus Package.' :)

On a beautiful day this view is breathtaking.  I love the peaceful feeling of weddings in Snohomish! 

This color palette is one of my favorites for spring - it has a light, happy look that contrasts with the dark wood flooring perfectly.

 Mmmm.... 

One of the biggest trends in the last few years is to create a logo for your Wedding Day, which becomes the theme of the invitations, programs, and even the favors.  I love the clean and modern look of this logo - it has a timelessness that makes it fashionable now and in ten years.   

I love this placecard idea!  Clever and oh-so-true! 

We are directly contacting the winners of the Ben Bridge Giveaway, and as soon as we have validated their elidgibility we will publically announce the winners.  (With a giveaway as fabulous as this one we need to make sure everything is 'official' before we can spread the word.)

There is just something about the feel of letterpress that says 'luxury' instantly ... I loved this design because it is so clean, yet the floral design gives it just a touch of whimsy.

I love this tabletop design by Aria Style, which combined chocolate-brown with ice-blue and sweet garden-style accents.  The 'Bonjour' gift boxes are adorable, and the place settings by Totally Tabletops give it the touch of elegance that completed the look perfectly.  Gorgeous!
