Message in a Bottle

Seattle Style loves a sweet engagement story and Molly and Matt definitely have one!

After bringing Molly to a spot on the beach set with tiki torches, rose petals, and a heart drawn in the sand, Matt mentioned he'd seen something in the sand while setting everything up and encouraged her to investigate.  What she found was an old wine bottle with a note inside...

"The note was sealed with wax and its paper was brown and brittle. It was a letter from a man stuck on a deserted tropical island. He thanked Molly for finding his note and wished that she would do him a favor. He was very lonely and needed companionship on his desert island. "Many are like me," He said " stuck and looking for the perfect companion to spend the rest of my days with." He went on to describe who he was looking for. The description sounded vaguely like Molly. At the bottom of the note in shaky hand the note asked her to do him one last favor. The note asked Molly to turn around and look behind her. Molly looked back at Matt, but he was already up and looking over her shoulder to something in the distance.

Molly turned around excitedly, but all she saw was the dark beach and the lights of hotels. She turned back around and there was Matt, on bended knee, and he asked Molly to marry him and love him forever and ever."

Woodmark Hotel Boat Exit

Molly and Matt were married in August of 2008 at the Woodmark Hotel in an event coordinated by Nadia of Creations by Ly.  Here they are sailing away into their future.  Happily their lovely and talented photographer, Rebecca Ellison, was there to capture the moment!
