Iconic Images: Laurel McConnell

Seattle wedding photographer Laurel McConnell did an amazing job of catching the reflection of this gorgeous couple through the side mirror of their getaway car ... but we'll let Laurel tell you the story>

As a spontaneous photographer, I draw inspiration from what is going on around me; the people I am photographing, the places we are in, the design of elements around us. This image was shot at Sarah and Nathan's swanky downtown hotel shortly after their walk down the aisle together. We found ourselves with their vintage getaway car in downtown Seattle just before heading into the reception, and just started experimenting while they shared a sweet moment together.
